全球話題大作好評再演　大使再掀島國命運續篇 一座不存在的大使館　正式回歸 ©Claudia Ndebele 首演引發熱烈討論，巡演國際口碑持續延燒，《這不是個大使館》回來了！自2024TIFA首演以來，作品已巡演10個國家、17個城市、演出超過55場，帶著世界各地的觀看與討論重返臺灣，再次邀請觀眾從世界的視角回望這座島嶼。 當世界局勢快速變動，國家、邊界與身份認同的討論持續升溫，這部為臺灣量身打造的作品，也再次成為此刻的提問。退休大使、國際組織工作者、珍奶世家的音樂人——三位橫跨世代的臺灣代表，將在劇場裡上演一場不存在的大使館開幕。 假作真時真亦假，如果這不是大使館，那什麼才是？如果這不是國家，那什麼才是？ THEATER OF DIPLOMACY: TAIWAN'S UNIQUE AND OFTEN MISUNDERSTOOD POLITICAL STATUS ABROAD IS THE SUBJECT OF A PLAY BY STEFAN KAEGI / RIMINI PROTOKOLL (SWITZERLAND / GERMANY). In This is not an Embassy, theater and diplomacy are brought together to portray modern Taiwan's representation abroad. The documentary play explores the island nation's current predicament vis a vis global politics, where its status as a country is constantly questioned, and most of its representations are not allowed to be officially referred to as "embassies." A digital activist, a retired diplomat, and the heiress of a Taiwanese company that opened up the international market for bubble tea talk about their lives and simulate the opening of a "non-embassy". They perform music in a transformable film set model. With small cameras, they role play with miniatures that represent themselves in the mini-earthquakes of representation abroad. The production is conceived by Stefan Kaegi and Rimini Protokoll, a German theater label known for using technology, creativity, and experts from outside of the theater world to examine social issues. It is made in conjunction with a Taiwanese team as part of a seven-week residency at National Theater & Concert Hall, Taipei. With this project, Kaegi highlights three very human and local answers to big questions like: What if the theater could create a "temporary, nomadic" representation of a territory, which will exist as a country on stage, even if only for the duration of the show? 角色故事 74歲的吳建國是一名退休的外交官，出身記者的他曾經任命至貝里斯擔任正式大使，也常駐南非、越南、泰國及紐西蘭等國家。他的名字「建國」，和許多那個時代出生的男嬰名字相同，彷彿成年人將風雨飄搖的中華民國茁壯期望，放在未來的國家棟樑的身上。 35歲的郭家佑是台灣數位外交協會的理事長。曾被太陽花學運撼動，她成為天然臺的一元，她以非典型的方式，發起過臺灣與25國的民間外交工作。從協助希臘難民、匈牙利吉普賽人拍攝紀錄片、到科索沃創業、越南成立公民外交咖啡館，她運用社群媒體的力量，為臺灣創造國際曝光。曾創下單篇貼文讓23萬烏克蘭人按讚支持臺灣的紀錄，並在2022年接受紐約時報採訪。 剛過30歲的音樂家王思雅（Debby Wang）從小在他國成長，但她的家族是臺灣之光「珍珠奶茶」全世界最大的珍珠奶茶原料供應商，從外公經營的一個小小的酸梅湯攤位開始，她的父親讓臺灣手搖茶飲文化走向全世界。恰如八零年代許多臺灣的生意人，帶著一卡皮箱走天下，在我們外交險峻的情況下，他們以「Ｍade in Taiwan」為臺灣創造了新的生命。 David Wu is a retired diplomat and former journalist. Over the course of his career, he served in South Africa, Vietnam, Thailand and New Zealand before becoming Taiwan's Ambassador to Belize. His life reflects decades of Taiwan's diplomatic history and changing relationship with the world. Chayo Kuo is Chairperson of the Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association. Through international collaborations, social media campaigns and citizen diplomacy initiatives, she has worked to expand Taiwan's presence on the global stage and build connections beyond traditional diplomatic channels. Debby Wang is a musician raised between Taiwan and Europe. Work by work they have expanded the means of the theatre to create new perspectives on reality. Rimini Protokoll often develop their stage-works, interventions, performative installations and audio plays together with experts who have gained their knowledge and skills beyond the theatre. Furthermore, they like to transpose rooms or social structures into theatrical formats. Many of their works feature interactivity and a playful use of technology. 概念暨導演 CONCEPT AND DIRECTOR｜史蒂芬．凱吉 STEFAN KAEGI 凱吉以紀錄劇場為創作形式，透過不同的合作關係在各種公共場域演出。劇團運用研究、公開試鏡及發想等過程，讓未曾接受專業訓練，但有概念想傳達的「專家」有發表的機會。目前他在臺灣發表過的作品包括臺北藝術節《遙感城市》（2017、2018）、高雄衛武營表演藝術中心《高雄百分百》（2020）、國家兩廳院秋天藝術節《恐怖谷》（2021）。 Stefan Kaegi creates documentary theatre plays, audio-interventions, curated formats and works in the urban environment in a diverse variety of collaborative partnerships. Using research, public auditions and conceptual processes, he often gives voice to 'experts' who are not trained actors but have something to tell.
